Marcus Reid spent six years defending insurance companies before founding Apex. That experience — watching how adjusters systematically undervalue injuries, pressure claimants to settle fast, and exploit those without legal representation — is what drove him to switch sides in 2007.

In the 18 years since, he has built Apex into one of Southern California's most recognized personal injury firms. He has tried over 60 cases to verdict, recovered multiple eight-figure settlements, and has been recognized by Super Lawyers every year since 2019.

He is a Board Certified Personal Injury Trial Law Specialist through the California State Bar — a certification held by fewer than 1% of California attorneys — and a past president of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles.
